Description Work consists of the removal of existing concrete bus loop pavement, concrete sidewalks, curb, and mow strip. Work will also include the removal existing 36” RCP storm sewer pipes, underdrain and drainage structures. The project will also include the widening of the concrete bus loop pavement, asphalt apron, sidewalks, concrete curb, underdrain system, landscaping and signs. Work will also include the installation of new storm sewer piping, drainage structures, and an underground storage system. Lighting enhancements will also be part of proposed project.

Special Instructions Bids will be accepted either in offline (paper) or online (electronic) versions. Offline bids should
be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope to the Engineering Branch on the 7th floor of the
Metropolitan Transportation Center (“MTC”) 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. The
lower left-hand corner should be marked as follows: BID NO.: E-592. Online bids should be
submitted in accordance with the process outlined on the NFTA’s Engineering/Contracting
website. All bids will be opened and read aloud on Tuesday February 28, 2023, at 10:00 am at
the MTC, 1st Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Bids received
after the date and time specified above for bid opening shall not be opened and/or considered for
award.

The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the
bidding period.

The Contractor shall perform not less than _50__% of the Work with its own forces.

and 1.12.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 1:30 pm at the
Metropolitan Transportation Center, First Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, NY
