| Description |
The Work of this project provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, and plant, and the performing of all Work in accordance with these specifications and drawings, with exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project.
The project consists of one (1) contract: NFIA Airside Drainage Structure Repair. The project will be implemented under one (1) Notices to Proceed (NTP) as set forth in the Contract Documents.
The Work provides for the repair of existing airside drainage inlets and utility structures that have settled and sunk into the adjacent Portland Cement Concrete Pavement. |

The Contract Documents may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203 or on the NFTA’s Engineering Branch website at www.nftaengineering.com. Online registration is required to become a Document Holder and obtain Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are available for $XX and may be requested from Cindy Cirbus at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 or downloaded from the NFTA’s Engineering Branch website. Requests may be accompanied by company check, certified check, cashier’s check or postal money order drawn in favor of the NFTA. This sum is non-refundable. The Contract Documents may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester.

The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period.
Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at www.surety2000.com, or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. Details for electronic submission are provided on the NFTA’s Engineering Branch website. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid.
The Contractor shall perform not less than 40% of the work with its own forces.
The NFTA goals for this procurement are: New York State Certified Minority Business Enterprise 0.0%,
New York State Certified Women Owned Business Enterprise 6.0% and New York Certified Service
Disabled Veterans Owned Businesses 6.0%.
Liquidated damages will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified as described in Technical Specification Section 01 11 00 “Summary of Work”.
A Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for 3:00PM April 22, 2025 at the Niagara Falls International Airport, in the 2nd floor conference room in the Terminal building located at 2035 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls, New York 14304
