| Description |
The Work generally consists of furnishing and installing two (2) new or refurbished Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs), including furnishing and installing new Pre-Conditioned Air Units (PCAs), furnishing and installing new Ground Power Units (GPUs) and removal/relocation of NFTA supplied PCA (from Gate 8 to storage for use on another project) at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA), as well as providing pavement marking removal and remarking (gate striping) for each gate in accordance with the project information provided . The Offeror will be responsible for providing all design, equipment, delivery, labor, installation and commissioning of all materials along with required supporting documentation, and warranty support. |

The Request for Proposals (RFP) may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Copies of the RFP are available at no charge and shall be requested from Cindy Cirbus at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 and can be downloaded from the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com. The RFP may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester. Document Holders shall register “on-line” at the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com under this Project prior to obtaining the RFP.

Proposals will be accepted via online (electronic) submission only.
Paper proposals will not be accepted.
Proposal shall be submitted on the NFTA Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com.

Proposals are preferred in a .pdf format in files no larger than 10 MB. File names must adhere to the following naming convention:
15BT2420_company name_##_of_##.pdf
For example: If the electronic proposal is 15MB in size, it will have to be separated into two files each no larger than 10MB. The file name for the first file would look like the following example:
15BT2420_XYZ Consultants_01_of_02.pdf
Proposals received after the date and time specified above for opening shall be considered late proposals and, therefore, shall not be opened and/or considered for award.
