Description This design project consists of the removal and replacement of airfield guidance signs with new size 3, LED lighted signs associated with Runway 5-23 and connecting taxiways in conformance with current FAA design standards including new naming configurations (TW A1, A2, A3....), installation of LED runway guard lights on Runways 5-23 and 14-32, and removal and replacement of runway hold position markings, enhanced centerline markings, and surface painted hold position markings on all Runway 5-23 connector taxiways in accordance with current FAA design standards. Work includes demolition of existing signs and circuits as needed, necessary modifications to the electrical vault, optimized new runway lighting circuits, and maintenance and protection of traffic operations as applicable for working on the runway including FAA barricades, and lighted runway closure markings. Work also includes signage replacement away from Runway 5-23, as necessary to address taxiway naming convention updates.

Copies of the RFP are available at no charge and shall be requested from Cindy Cirbus at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 and can be downloaded from the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com. The RFP may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester. Document Holders shall register “on-line” at the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com under this Project prior to obtaining the RFP.

Proposals received after the date and time specified above for opening shall be considered late proposals and, therefore, shall not be opened and/or considered for award.

For this procurement, the design effort M/WBE participation shall be: 5% MBE and 7% WBE.
