| Description |
The Work generally consists of furnishing and installing Bus Mobile Router Gateways.
Contract award for the Mobile Router Gateway is anticipated for April 20, 2015.
The Manufacturer/System Integrator will be responsible for providing all engineering, design, testing, materials, programming, training, documentation, and warranty support. The details of the work are covered in the RFP and the Functional Specifications. |

The Request for Proposals (RFP) may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Copies of the RFP are available at no charge and shall be requested from Judy Reeves at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 and can be downloaded from the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com. The RFP may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester. Plan Holders shall register “on-line” at the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com under this Project prior to obtaining the RFP.

Proposals will be accepted via online (electronic) submission only.
Paper proposals will not be accepted.
Proposal shall be submitted on the NFTA Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com.

Proposals are preferred in a .pdf format in files no larger than 10 MB. File names must adhere to the following naming convention:
NFTA Proj. No._Company Name_##_of_##.pdf
For example: If the electronic proposal is 15MB in size, it will have to be separated into two files each no larger than 10MB. The file name for the first file would look like the following example:
21MG1418_Company Name_01_of_02.pdf
Proposals received after the date and time specified above for opening shall be considered late proposals and, therefore, shall not be opened and/or considered for award.
The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the work with its own forces.
The time of completion for the project is 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal is 18%.
