The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (“NFTA”) is soliciting proposals to furnish refurbished equipment, including a Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB), Walkway and optional Pre-Conditioned Air (PCAir), 400Hz 90Kva Ground Power Unit (GPU) and Potable Water Cabinet (PWC) to serve Gate 3 at the Niagara Falls International Airport's New Terminal Building. The resulting ADA compliant refurbished Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) with a connecting fixed link (walkway) shall serve 757-300, A320-200, 737-300, 737-800, CRJ-701, and 767-300 aircraft.

Buy Bid Docs at The Request for Proposals (RFP) may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Copies of the RFP are available at no charge and shall be requested from Judy Reeves at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 and can be downloaded from the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com. The RFP may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester. Plan Holders shall register “on-line” at the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com under this Project prior to obtaining the RFP.

Special Instructions The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the proposal period.

The RFP is a two phase process. Phase 1 responses must be submitted by the end of business day July 7, 2010 in order for consideration for the Phase 2 RFP response due end of business day July 27, 2010. Submit to Harold Matuszak, Manager of Design, 7th floor, Metropolitan Transportation Center (“MTC”), 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203.

Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is 18%.
