The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Engineering Branch is responsible for the bidding of construction and consultant service contracts for new facilities, improvements, renovations, repairs and maintenance of or transportation facilities that service Western New York. We use BidGetter software to supply detailed project bidding information, including bid documents, Plan Holder lists, individual Plan Holder status, Bid Results, Addenda and other project specific information. Additionally, when you register you will have the option of receiving new project notifications based upon your areas of interest.
Why should I register?
As a registered user you will gain access to all the project information including the Bid Documents, Plan Holder lists and Bid Results. The Current Projects List page will show your current status as a Plan Holder for each project. You will have the option of submitting your bids and bonding information online.
Note: If you are inactive for more than 12 months your registration will be removed from our system. If you need to change your email address, password, user information or project notification status, simply click on 'My Account'.
What is a Plan Holder?
Only registered users can become Plan Holders. Each project has a separate list of registered Plan Holders. To become a Plan Holder you need sign-up for each and every project of interest. You must be a registered Plan Holder before you can pick-up hard copy documents from our offices. As a registered Plan Holder you are on the mailing list for all Addenda and other project specific notices. This is critical since we primarily send Addenda and project notices via email. As a registered user, once you Login to our site you will be able to see which projects have you listed as a Plan Holder. If at any time during the bid process you wish to be removed from the Plan Holder list or wish to be added to the Intend to Bid list, you may do so on the Project Information Details page for each project.
How do I submit a Bid online?
For most projects the submission of online bids will be available. We encourage all bidders to utilize this tool. All bids submitted online are secure and encrypted until the bid opening time and date. No one can view your bid prior to that time. You may resubmit your bid as many times as you like prior to the bid opening time. Your last bid submission is your official bid. We even have the means for electronic submission of your bid bond.

What is Design Collaboration?
This is a separate site from the main Engineering site designed for the collaborative exchange of electronic files needed during a project. For our current contractors and consultants who need access to our separate Design Collaboration site please use the Design Collaboration link on the bottom of the navigation bar to the right. This site is only available to those who have prearranged access and on a project specific level. Registration is separate from the main Engineering web site.
