Project Description:
The project will develop a 3-1/2-acre parcel into two parking Lots.
Parking lot one will be developed into a 100 parking space multipurpose lot serving both airport and NFTA Metro patrons by providing a parking lot that offers:
Park & Ride
Cell Phone Waiting
TNC Waiting Area (Lyft/Uber)
Metro Bus Stop with real time passenger information.
This lot will be monitored by video surveillance and a vehicle license plate reader that will alert BNIA police to potential threats.
Parking lot two will be developed into a 297 parking space Airport Employee lot. This lot will be secured by access-controlled barrier arms and monitored by video surveillance. The lot will include an enclosed heated waiting shelter with an access-controlled communication closet.
Note: Final parking space counts may vary based on constraints identified during design and construction.
The airport parking spaces vacated because of the new offsite Buell Avenue parking lots will be repurposed for airline patron parking.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) may be examined in the 7th Floor Conference Room, 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Copies of the RFP are available at no charge and shall be requested from Cindy Cirbus at 716-855-7342 or fax 716-855-7447 and can be downloaded from the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com. The RFP may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., or sent via courier billed to the requester. Document Holders shall register on-line at the Authority's Engineering website at www.nftaengineering.com under this Project prior to obtaining the RFP.
